This page is a running picture of where Bitaxe Baller is headed. Recently shipped is live in the current build (v1.21.3). Coming next is the near-term build queue. Under consideration is the idea pool — your input shapes the order.

A lot has landed since the Pro launch. Highlights from the v1.9 → v1.21 line — full detail in the changelog:

• AxeOS v2.15.0 support. AxeOS now bundles its web interface into the firmware file instead of shipping it separately. Baller handles both the new single-file layout and the old two-file one, and won't offer a firmware to app versions that can't install it.
• Electricity cost estimates. free — set your kWh rate and see what your fleet costs to run per day and per month: a fleet total on the home page, a running-cost line on every card, and a stat on each device page.
• Scheduled pool switching. Pro — apply a saved pool profile to a miner automatically at a set time on set weekdays. Move to a solo/lottery pool on nights & weekends and back, hands-off.
• Bulk firmware & AxeOS flasher. Pro — update AxeOS across your whole fleet from one button: one miner at a time, stop-on-failure, every binary checksum-verified before it's sent. Fail-closed and Bitaxe-only, so it never flashes another vendor's board or a custom firmware fork. free updates a single miner from its device page.
• Braiins OS mini-miner monitoring. Watch BMM-101 mini miners alongside your Bitaxes and NerdQAxes — monitor-only, auto-discovered.
• Companion mobile apps — iOS & Android. View your fleet from your phone, anywhere. Pair once with a code; live hashrate, temps, and stats stream over the relay. free for your first miner · Pro for the full fleet.
• Remote access — now free. Reach your dashboard from outside your LAN with no port forwarding and no VPN. Free covers your first miner; Pro shows the whole fleet.
• Umbrel community app. One-click self-host on your Umbrel — runs 24/7 so the relay stays connected without a sleeping laptop.
• Public leaderboard. Best-share rankings across all-time / this month / per-model / "lucky" — free to enter, with monthly Pro prizes.
• Pool profiles & one-click switching. Save named pool configs and apply them to any device instantly.
• Email alerts Pro — the same offline / temperature triggers as Discord, delivered by email.
• Multi-chain support. BTC, BCH, BSV, eCash, DigiByte, Namecoin — auto-detected pools, per-chain block-ETA tiles, and a manual chain override for miners pointed at your own node.
• Live share feed. free — accepted and rejected shares appear on each device page as they're submitted, with a marker when one beats your personal best.
• Pool shown on every home card, with a fallback flag when a miner drops to its secondary pool.
• Fleet ROI overlay, block-found celebration, and a steady stream of tuning & stability fixes.

Before that, the Pro tier launch (v1.8) brought bulk tuning, auto-tune sweeps, 90-day history, and Discord alerts. Pro is $29/year — 5 desktop installs (Mac / Windows / Umbrel), unlimited miners per install. The free tier stays fully free.

The near-term build queue.

Scheduler — tuning presets & standby Pro

Pool switching by time of day shipped in v1.20.0 — bounce between BTC and BCH, or move to a solo/lottery pool on nights & weekends, on a clock. Still coming: scheduling tuning presets (run Aggressive overnight, quieter during the day) and a one-click standby that parks a miner during peak electricity hours (drops to floor frequency/voltage, restores on wake). The most-requested Pro feature line.

Multi-model presets — Supra & Ultra free

Tuning presets and expected-hashrate coefficients for the Supra (BM1368) and Ultra (BM1366), not just the Gamma (BM1370). Owners of older boards get suggestions calibrated for their actual chip instead of Gamma numbers.

Telegram alerts Pro

A Telegram channel alongside the Discord and email alerts that already ship — same per-device cooldown logic.

Ideas we're tracking but haven't scoped or committed. The order things ship in depends partly on what the community most wants — if any of these matter to you, let us know.

• Tuning over the relay — make the remote view write-capable, so you can tune from your phone, not just monitor
• Fleet auto-tune campaign Pro — run auto-tune across many miners sequentially with a fleet-level rollup and a single "campaign complete"
• Chip-lottery comparison free — GH/s per watt per MHz across the fleet, so you can see which board won the silicon lottery
• Thermal Guardian Pro — a background watchdog that holds each miner inside a thermal envelope as room temperature drifts
• Read-only HTTP API — feed metrics into Grafana / Datadog / your own dashboard
• Custom rule engine — user-defined alerts ("if VR temp > 75 °C AND hashrate < 1.1 TH/s for 5 min then page me")
• Bench / burn-in mode — guided multi-hour stability test that varies voltage/frequency and emits a report
• Baseline drift detection — "your Gamma is hashing 4% below its 30-day average" alerts, built on the long-term history
• Auto-tune v2 — add voltage probing to the frequency sweep for extra headroom
• Pool fee / payout optimization — track payouts across pools and suggest switches

To be unambiguous about what the free tier covers and what won't ever be paywalled:

• Live polling, tooltips, manual tuning, fan control, the network scanner
• Pool / stratum config, pool profiles, multi-chain detection + chain override, mDNS publishing
• The tuning recommendation engine and the 5 built-in presets (Stock / Mild / Balanced / Aggressive / Max) for every supported chip
• Remote access + the mobile apps for your first miner — monitor from anywhere, no Pro required
• The public leaderboard — free to enter
• CSV logging to your local disk, light / dark theme, and the update-notification banner
• The desktop app itself — open source, MIT licensed

Pro is additive. Nothing in the current free tier moves behind a paywall.
